Choose Your Niche
The first thing you need to do is choose what you want to blog about. Personally on my blog I focus on blogging tips and internet marketing. Your niche in the online world is your expertise or a subject you think you can share a lot about. However, if you intend to make money out of your blog and you want to have as many readers as possible, it is important to focus on one niche but make sure you pick a niche that is ‘in’ or that appeals most of the online readers.
Get a “Branding” Domain and Hosting
The next step is to get a domain name that brands you, your company, or your product.
Install WordPress and Pick a Theme
After you have your own domain and hosting you need to install WordPress onto it. All major hosting companies have really simplified the process by making it a one click install.
Add Plugins, Custom design, and Content
Once your blog is up and running you’re going to want to add plugins to make your site run easier. You’re also going to want to add some custom design to really differentiate yourself.
